03Why we exist
We started because
too many stoves were
fitted badly.
We work out of an oast at Burham, on the edge of the Medway valley, in a county full of old chimneys that were never built for a modern appliance. Twenty years of surveying them taught us that the stove is the easy part. The flue, the ventilation and the making good are what decide whether a fire draws well for the next twenty winters.
So we kept everything in house. The same team surveys, orders, fits, sweeps and comes back when you need a rope or a pane of glass. No subcontractors, no jargon, and a price that reads the same at the end as it did at the start.

Talk it through
Call us or visit the Burham showroom. We will ask what the room needs to do, not what you might spend.
Step 02
Free home survey
A surveyor measures the opening, checks the chimney and confirms ventilation, then puts everything in writing.
Step 03
A clear quotation
One price covering stove, liner, hearth, labour and making good. No jargon and no items added later.
Step 04
Installation
Our own fitters, dust sheets down, the room left clean. Most single installations are completed in a day.
Step 05
Handover and aftercare
We light it with you, show you how to run it well, hand over your certificate and book the first sweep.

You cannot judge heat output from a photograph. Sit beside a live fire, compare the glass and the controls, then talk it through with someone who fits them every week. Easy parking, no appointment needed.
