Quotations
A written quotation follows a free home survey and is valid for 30 days. It sets out the stove, flue components, hearth, labour and making good that are included.
Where a chimney is found on the day to need work that could not be seen at survey, we will stop, explain the position and agree any change in writing before continuing.
Deposits and payment
A deposit is taken to order goods. The balance is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Any materials order over 100 pounds is delivered free anywhere in the UK.
Supply only orders
Where we supply goods for you or your own installer to fit, responsibility for correct installation and for notifying building control rests with the person carrying out the work.
Installation and certification
Installations are carried out by our own HETAS registered fitters. On completion we issue the relevant certificate and register the work as required.
Access, parking and a clear working area are your responsibility. Where these are not available on the day, a return visit may be chargeable.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to the appliance and are honoured through us. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion.
Warranties assume the appliance is run on suitable fuel and swept at the recommended interval.
Cancellation
Where you order as a consumer away from our showroom you have 14 days to cancel. Goods made or ordered to your specification cannot always be cancelled once placed, and we will tell you clearly if that applies.
