We have been installing wood burning stoves across Kent for many years. With the growing demand for media walls and electric fires we are now supplying and installing top of the range electric fires and media walls alongside the solid fuel side of the business.
On display at the showroom is the latest electric fire from Onyx, the Fusion 150. It is a wide landscape unit with a deep fuel bed, layered flame effect and colour control, and it runs from a standard socket with no flue, no hearth and no chimney work at all.
That is the practical appeal of a media wall. In a new build, a flat, or any room where a chimney was never built or has long been removed, you can still have a fire as the centrepiece of the room, with the screen above it and the cabling hidden inside the wall.
The build matters as much as the fire. We frame, board, plaster and finish the wall so the fire sits flush and the recesses line up with the furniture, then set the electrics and the media feeds before the final skim goes on.
